“With further research, I became really interested in the job” – Yousif’s #IamHydrogenSafe story

We have incorporated the UK’s first Ofqual-registered hydrogen qualifications into the “Practitioner in Pipelines for Hydrogen and Utilities” Apprenticeship, which is provided by IACS Training and Education.

Yousif generously shared his insights on the training he received from Hydrogen Safe as part of his qualification.

💚 Your Green Story: were you always aware of the opportunities in hydrogen-related careers?
“While I initially stumbled across the apprenticeship, upon further research I became really interested in the job of specialist pipe inspector.”

✅ What plans do you have once you complete your training?
“I’m really excited to complete the course and further my career opportunities! After I have finished my course and gained some initial experience, I would like to use my skills to work abroad.”

💡 What have you enjoyed the most about Hydrogen Safe’s training?
“I’ve enjoyed meeting like-minded people who are genuinely interested in the subject.”
