Just over a year since the initial launch of a collaborative training course, Hydrogen Safe has worked with HORIBA, the expert in the development and manufacturing of scientific equipment and measuring tools, to evolve the content to incorporate updated elements for learners.
Ensuring the information provided is based on industry-leading insight, the businesses have incorporated professionally recorded videos of the HORIBA C05-LT fuel cell test station, along with fully interactive slides.
This new content further enhances the ‘Fuel Cell Testing Stations: Supply, Setup & Safety’ course, showing the ease of installation and use of the test station, helping further world-class research into fuel cell technology.
There remain four modules within the course content which are Using Hydrogen Safely, Testing Station Facility Needs, Test Station Overview, and Installation and Use.
Those accessing the training will gain the confidence they need to work safely with and around hydrogen, while also seeing in practice how the C05-LT revolutionary next-generation fuel cell test station, which has been specifically designed for researchers and engineers, can be used safely in polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cell research.
Specialist Training Instructor for Hydrogen Safe, Paul Holland, comments: “We know that in an ever-changing landscape we must ensure that the course content we are offering is up to date and relevant.
“Working with HORIBA, an industry-leading organisation, means that we can bring the very best content to our learners. It also means that together we can help further world-class research into fuel cell technology.
“Adding the video and interactive slides provides both theoretical and practical insight, which we know from feedback is important to our learners. We look forward to the feedback from those that access this content and complete the latest iteration of this course.”
Head of Sales and Service at HORIBA, Ana Anyaeji comments: “When we launched this exclusive training last year, it set a real precedence in how industry and academia collaborate to accelerate hydrogen innovation. This evolution goes further, demonstrating our commitment not just to supporting research, but to actively shaping the standards, knowledge, and safety frameworks that underpin it.
“At HORIBA, we are focused on enabling the next generation of fuel cell technologies through practical, accessible expertise. By continuously advancing this programme with Hydrogen Safe, we are helping to equip researchers and engineers with the insights and confidence needed to drive the transition to clean energy, faster and more safely.”
