Building on the market leading talent that Hydrogen Safe now has within its team, the company has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Simon as Green Energy Partnerships Director.
Previously working for the environmental charity, Groundwork Greater Manchester as a Senior Green Skills Lead, Elizabeth (Lizzie) was responsible for the development and implementation of green skills modules for private, public and third sector clients.
In addition, she was a local and national project manager, working with both funder and external partner commitments, while building her network to create opportunities and forge lasting partnerships.
Transferable skills and knowledge
Taking her transferable skills and knowledge, Lizzie will become a key representative for Hydrogen Safe and will attend events, conferences and exhibitions to educate the public, industry professionals and education partners about the business.
She comments: “When I was given the opportunity to work with Hydrogen Safe, I simply couldn’t turn it down. There is so much happening within the sector and the business is perfectly placed to facilitate meaningful collaborations between business and educators.
“As part of my role, I will be out and about a lot and look forward to meeting with people that are as passionate about the environment and how we transition to greener ways of working as I am.”
